Lovely color. Wanted the black, but this is also good. I have a pair in white for tennis. This pair is for casual use. New Balance foot support and comfort are consistently terrific. Highly recommended.

My son plays 20+ hours of tennis a week and he was going through shoes every 3 or 4 weeks. These hold up for at least 8 weeks. They have extremely good ankle support. He hasn't had any ankle problems since we switched to this shoe. He's able to slide well on clay and hard courts and doesn't get the hole in his shoe like he did with all other tennis shoes because there's leather right in that spot. I can't recommend it enough.

I can't wear a medium shoe, so it has to be a wide. This shoe is true to size, and it's a little wide for my foot, but two pairs of athletic socks takes care of that. It wears well, and has an ample toe box. I get no blisters despite playing tennis on hard courts four times per week. This will be my fourth pair of the 1006's, as I am buying extra pairs before the model is discontinued. I am hoping that doesn't happen, as I would have to start a new shoe hunt then.
