      Long time NB840 fan

      Best shoe for those of us requiring straight last shoes with extra room in the toe box. I look forward to the introduction of the next model 840v6.

      Great fit the NB 840v5

      My last pair of new belts was 840s. I’ve ordered three pairs since that time the 680 the 880 and all of them were too short I don’t know why a new balance is making those shoes a half size smaller. Thankfully this 840 V5 is it true 14 and not a 13 1/2. So it fits great. I couldn’t even find is on the new balance site so hats off to Holabird sports!

      These are my third or fourth pair over many years. I need a wide shoe and they fit my feet and the arch is right. I bought my first pair at their store. These salespeople really help you find the right fitting shoe for your foot type. So although its a newer version I bought these online and they fit just like the originals. Free shipping, arrived fast. Since I recieved a coupon I'm thinking of getting a second pair before the price goes up.

      I dont run anymore ebecause of a bad back but I still love these for everyday walking .
