Experience comfort from every angle in the New Balance Fresh Foam 1080v10. This max-cushioned neutral shoe is built to handle long distances, high weekly mileage, and everyday exercise. Each step enters a land of luxury with the Fresh Foam X premium cushion, with enhanced softness and more bounce than ever before. Enjoy the best of both worlds with a soft knit upper for a stretchy yet supportive fit. Whether you're chasing after serious goals or enjoying a casual afternoon stroll, let the New Balance Fresh Foam 1080v10 take you all the way home to the finish line.

Who's it for?

  • Neutral runners who want a max cushioned shoe to handle long distances and a daily running routine.
  • Casual or speed walkers who would enjoy stepping into a plush bed of cushion during their activities.
  • Anyone with a wide foot who requires a shoe that can accommodate for a better fit.

What's New?

  • Hypoknit upper replaces mesh from the previous version to provide support and stretch in strategic areas.
  • Contoured 3D heel locks the foot into place to prevent any heel slipping, rubbing, or irritation.
  • Fresh foam X in the midsole is lighter, softer, and more responsive than the cushion found in the New Balance 1080v9.
  • Larger lugs on the outsole provide better traction for a variety of surfaces over longer distances.

Excellent shoe with plenty of cushion

As I've gotten older (over 50), I need an everyday trainer that's not too heavy and has lots of cushioning. The 1080v10 is the best everyday trainer yet. It even holds up pretty well despite some runs during 25 degree weather when some shoes feel like total bricks. I'll definitely be looking for the next iteration of this shoe!

Runs Narrow

Bought these as a walking shoe. 90% of the time I'll wear a B or narrow, but these fit me much better in the D width. Length seems standard. Just got them today in the D width and they fit well. This is my first foam shoe, so the feel is different but I think I will enjoy them. I was unable to omit any of the multiple choice questions, so please ignore the the questions on size (runs narrow, but normal length) and on durability (just got them.)

1080s but tight on the Tounge

Purchased 2 sets of 1080v10. I’ve had several pairs of 1080s before in previous versions. Sizing was correct except for very tight on the tongue of the shoe. I have had to wear the thinnest smart wool socks I have in order to make these work but are still tight. Stability and comfort are there and hopefully these breaking a little better after 50 miles. Currently have 30 miles on each pair.

NB 1080v10 Success

Great craftsmanship, well built distance shoe. Fulfilled expectations. Noticably not as light as a Beacon but it'll hold up better. Comfortable, no issues so far after 50 miles. Love that NB does a wide, a 13 wide is perfect for me, where the 13 or 14 medium is not.
