Purchased these for serving in a restaurant, decent

New Balance wants you to buy their inserts. At the time, I could not afford both because I was starting in a new restaurant. So I had to wear these with the terrible insole they have with them already. It was PAINFUL, after only one hour at work they hurt your back and your feet, ankles, you name it. Terrible support. The good thing about this shoe is that you can purchase a good quality insole for them and they're great. New Balance has decent inserts, Dr. Scholls DOES NOT. Good Insert Brands Include: Birckenstock, Aetrex, Superfeet, Sole, etc. If you need a non slip restaurant shoe and do not want to pay for inserts too, Birckenstock has a new nonslip black shoe that has become very popular. Because it is GREAT. I wish I would have gone that route, but I didn't so these are fine.
