I Like Em' I Like Em' A LOT!
I wear a 12 and 1/2 extra wide shoe, and the Saucony Guide 17 fits that bill perfectly. They are very comfortable they are supportive they have a 8 mm drop, which is a little on the high side, but it's okay with me as long as it doesn't go any higher. My most comfortable shoes are anywhere from 4:00 to 8:00 mm drop. These tend to last longer than the hokas or New Balance. The hokas and New Balance with my weight, attend the last about a month and a half. The Saucony Guide 17s has lasted me 6 months. Grant it yes I did after about 2 and 1/2 months put in my insoles that I have but that just extended the life of the shoe. The bottom of the shoes are still at least a quarter tread. There has been absolutely no problems with my other guide 17s no fraying, no blow outs, nothing. I did mention earlier my weight, I am 300 lb 5 ft 8 so for a shoot to last that long with what I weigh, is very impressive. They are very reasonably priced as well. If the new version of the guide is anything like the 17th, we are good to go. Fortunately though I won't have to find out for at least 4 to 6 months :-)
