Völkl racquets are engineered and designed in Germany. Comfort, feel, and playability are known standards that one can expect when playing with a Völkl. The grip-dampening system that has been incorporated in every model of Völkl over the past 25 years has been one of the key systems that has allowed for such feel and comfort. The dampening system has been improved over the years, leading to the current V-Feel dampening system that uses REVA, (a new EVA foam). What this has allowed is a stiffer racquet without any of the shock that many stiff racquets cause.
Continuity across models is another great feature of Völkl tennis racquets. New generations still have a similar feel to previous generations of the same model. This makes transitioning into a current model from an older one very seamless.
