How Much Fun Can You Have at Tennis Camp?
The Holabird Sports Tennis Camp at UMBC--powered by Babolat--continued its annual tradition of providing campers with a remarkable tennis experience.

Four junior sessions and one adult session took place at the UMBC Retriever Tennis Complex, a state-of-the-art facility that includes eight outdoor courts and four indoor courts. The camp offers four participation levels: half day, full day, extended day, and overnight.

Seeking to improve each camper's game through professional and individualized attention, the Holabird Sports Tennis Camp boasted a maximum of a 5:1 student to teacher ratio. In addition to seasoned collegiate counselors, the camp directors include:

  • Rob Hubbard: UMBC Men's and Women's Tennis Head Coach

  • Oliver Steil: UMBC Men's and Women's Tennis Assistant Coach

  • Robin Hubbard: Towson University Assistant Coach

Campers enjoyed up to 30 hours of tennis instruction, during which they participated in warm up drills, lessons and instruction, match play, stroke development, and video analysis.
