Saucony's Duane Solomon Wins 800 Meter with World-Leading Time
Last Sunday was an exciting day for Saucony! Duane Solomon, an Olympian and Saucony-sponsored athlete, won the 800-meter final at the USA Outdoor National Track & Field Championships in Des Moines, Iowa. And, even more exciting, he ran 1:43.27—that’s a world-leading time!

Solomon and three other U.S. Saucony runners will be representing Team USA in the upcoming IAAF World Championships in Moscow, Russia. In addition to Duane Solomon, Saucony’s Team includes Molly Huddle (5,000), Queen Harrison (100 hurdles) and Ashley Higginson (3,000 steeplechase).

Duane Solomon wore the Saucony Endorphin MD4, a middle distance spike. The Endorphin MD4 is Saucony’s premier middle distance spike and inspired by Solomon’s aggressive running style. The Endorphin’s six-pin spike plate keeps runners up on their toes with maximum traction. Thanks to the ultra-lightweight mesh and FlexFilm™ technology, it’s the lightest middle distance spike in the market (3.2 ounces).

The Endorphin MD4 will be available November, 2013. However, you can still buy the Saucony Endorphin MD3 and other Saucony track & field shoes.

The IAAF World Championships will be held in Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow, Russia, August 10-18, 2013.
