Under Armour Speedform Gemini Review
For me, the Under Armour Speedform Gemini was a long-awaited shoe. I enjoyed running in the Speedform Apollo which was released in early 2014—the apparel-like upper, lightweight feel, and smooth ground contact were all major positives.

However, the Apollo lacked the substance that I craved in a dedicated, everyday trainer. I wasn’t fully comfortable with the shoe for long-distance runs, but some runners with an affinity for minimalism may disagree.

Having worn the Speedform Gemini for the past month and a half, I can confidently say that it can last the long miles and harder workouts that, perhaps, the Apollo wouldn’t be able to withstand. The Gemini is more cushioned and clearly absorbs impact better upon meeting the road.

Complete with the new Charged Cushioning midsole, it had a ride that was soft and resilient. I was pleased that it had the same level of responsiveness as the Apollo.

Most importantly, it’s very light for a neutral trainer, which is a always a huge plus.

In my opinion, this is Under Armour’s best shoe yet.
