ASICS continues to provide soft, GEL-cushioning on a stable platform that gives overpronators the comfort they crave without sacrificing stability. The GT-2000 2, much like the original GT-2000, will employ the Dynamic DuoMax support system for smooth, yet efficient pronation control. As always, Rearfoot and Forefoot GEL Cushioning Systems will give runners superior shock absorption during ground contact and a soft toe-off.
New to the GT-2000 series is the FluidRide midsole compound, which guarantees the same cushioned ride you've come to expect from ASICS at an even lighter weight. A men's size 9 weighs 11.0 ounces and a women's size 7 weighs 8.8 ounces.
