Adidas took everything they knew about running, pulled it apart, and started over from scratch. Tuned Torsion

The Tuned Torsion Spring features longer blades to optimize forefoot flexibility and propulsion. Whenever the foot is planted, the Tuned Torsion Spring works with the Optimized Boost midsole to return that surge of energy right back to the runner.

3D Heel Frame

The heel counter has been stripped down to just the essentials. The frame holds the ankle securely in place while allowing for the natural movement of the heel. It is the perfect complement to the soft, sock-like feel of the Primeknit 360 upper.

Optimized Boost

Optimized Boost provides 20% more energy return in a lighter package. This midsole captures and returns energy from ground contact and sends it back to the runner, encouraging longer runs for the same energy expenditure.
