great when warming up
Especially good during first several minutes of warming up and working on one's timing. Later on when practicing solo I usually have one progress ball and 2 or 3 double yellow dot balls. This mixes things up and demands more focus. Caution - volleys with the progress ball rebound off the wall much quicker than other balls, so one may want to wear goggles.
