Gamma String Tension Tester

The Gamma String Tension Tester™ lets you know when it's time to restring by measuring the relative tension loss of strings over time. The ergonomic design, constructed of durable nylon, is easy to operate with one hand and the larger scale, quickly gives readings with more accuracy than competitive testers.

don't buy this not accurate

double checked accuracy at local pro shop. 25lbs off at the shop. 25lbs off on my stringer as well. this is no where close to reading tension correctly. I bought 2 of these and neither of them were anywhere close to being accurate, don't buy it. a waste of money and time

Seems to be accurate

This tension tester seems to be pretty accurate. I check the tension immediately following stringing and it's been spot on.

Works Better!

I use it as intened to get a general idea of the tension of the string-bed of strung racquets. It's definitely not a scientific instrument, but is more accurate than the old black type I had.
