Up in the air over a repurchase
Writing a review about the updated Gaviota 5 is quite difficult for me as I was a fan of the Gaviota 4. My flat feet do better in a stable shoe and when Hoka did this update they made many changes, most of which were wonderful. My problem is with the width of the toe box being extremely wide. I downsized 1/2 size and that was beneficial, however the shoe is still quite wide. I wear my shoes for walking and to date they are fine for that activity.
