The Yonex Dynawire (16 gauge) has it all…power, topspin, feel, comfort, control and durability. According to the USRSA database the Yonex Dynawire has a stiffness rating of 171 and has a tension loss of 10.43%. The stiffness rating is very comparable to Wilson NXT Comfort (16 gauge) which is 174. The low tension loss is among the best of any strings and is better than Wilson NXT Comfort (16 gauge) tension loss which is 20.5%. I love the Wilson NXT Comfort strings, but to save costs I would strongly recommend the Yonex Dynawire which has a similar feel but lasts much longer. Since using these strings along with my new Wilson Blade version 7 I’ve increased my USTA estimated dynamic rating and will be bumped up soon to a 3.5 player. Because these strings have plenty of power I would recommend getting these strings strung with the tension at 55. I must also thank Stel (the stringer) for encouraging me to do tennis racquet demos which is what led to me finding this string. Both Stel & Steve are the best stringers not only for their quality of work but also for listening and always finding solutions to improve my game.
