adidas has crafted a TechFit upper that stretches and moves with the foot, unlike many traditional mesh uppers. To create an unbeatable natural running experience, adidas mapped the foot during its gait cycle to determine what parts of the foot need the most protection. They bonded the polyurethane in those specific locations in the upper to provide optimum security.
The adipure Gazelle 2 offers a 7mm heel-to-toe drop, which encourages a midfoot strike without being overly-minimal. Additionally, a specialized outsole design helps to distribute weight and shock evenly across the metatarsals.
