Great Tasting Fruit & Veggie Smoothies
Smoothies are a great tasting way to become healthier. Drinking your fruits and veggies can help you lose weight, absorb nutrients, and improve your memory, mental clarity and energy levels. Here are some great smoothies you can make at home. You can substitute any protein powder where it says UCAN, but you may have to play with amounts.

Banana & Ginger

Ginger is a natural way to soothe stomach troubles, including heartburn and nausea and bananas are high in fiber (plus a great way to add some consistency to your smoothies).
1 banana
1 packet Generation UCAN Vanilla
1 Tbsp honey
½ tsp freshly grated ginger
12 oz water
½ cup ice

Blend on high until smooth.

Without the UCAN:
1 banana, sliced
¾ c (6 oz) vanilla yogurt
1 Tbsp honey
½ tsp freshly grated ginger

Blend on high until smooth.
Not into ginger but love chocolate? Try this instead:
1 packet Generation UCAN Chocolate
12 oz water
1/2 cup of ice
1/3 banana

Blend on high until smooth.

Banana & Coconut

1 cup milk (I prefer almond, but you can use coconut, rice, or organic 1% cow’s milk instead)
1 frozen banana, slightly thawed
1 scoop Generation UCAN chocolate or vanilla powder
2 Tbsp unsweetened coconut
4 oz coconut water
1/2 cup of ice

Blend on high until smooth.

Or try this:
1 packet Generation UCAN Chocolate
12 oz coconut water
1/2 cup of ice
(add 1/3 banana if you want)

Blend on high until smooth.

Creamy Citrus

1 peeled orange
2 Tbsp frozen orange juice concentrate
¼ tsp vanilla extract
1 scoop Vanilla Cream UCAN
12 oz water
1/2 cup ice

Blend on high until smooth.

Without UCAN:
1 navel orange, peeled
¼ c fat-free half-and-half or fat-free yogurt*
2 Tbsp frozen orange juice concentrate
¼ tsp vanilla extract
4 ice cubes

Blend on high until smooth.

*If you want to make it super creamy substitute vanilla Greek yogurt for the fat-free yogurt.

Berry Good Smoothie

1 packet Generation UCAN Vanilla
12 oz water
1/2 cup of ice
1/2 cup frozen mixed berries
Blend on high until smooth.

ADD any or all of these, depending on your taste
1/2 cup blueberries
1/2 cup raspberries
