The 2014 Miami Sony Open Promises to Be Big
This year's Sony Open tournament promises to be big with 19 of the top 20 tennis players in attendance. Last year both Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer missed the tournament and attendance dropped 5.5%. However, this year's Sony Open boasts Serena Williams, Maria Sharapova, Li Na, Agnieska Radwanska (although, her knee injury may cause issues) and more on the women's side. On the men's side get ready to watch defending champ Andy Murray, Novak Djokovic (who is a three-time winner) and, of course, Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer. As if that wasn't enough, Stanislas Wawrinka, Milos Raonic and John Isner are also playing.

Last year we saw Serena Williams and Maria Sharapova make it to the final. If Li Na wins this year we could see the first crack in Serena's Number One armor. However, Miami is Serena's home turf and, thanks to her boycott of Indian Wells, she usually comes in more rested than the others. She's won the Miami Sony Open a whopping six times, including last year. Li Na didn't have the best time at Indian Wells but she wants that number one spot and I'm betting she's going to play her heart out to get it. However, Serena's draw looks pretty good, possibly giving her yet another advantage. Although, Li Na's isn't too shabby either.

Both Nadal and Federers received good draws while Murray and Djokovic, well, not so much. In fact, to win again this year it is entirely possible that defending champ Andy Murray may have to go through Novak Djokovic, Roger Federer and Nadal.

No matter what the 2014 Sony Open in Miami promises to be exciting!
