The Cortana 3 will be released in August 2013. Weighing in at 9.5 ounces in a men's size 9 and 8.4 ounces in size 8 for women, this version of the Cortana is even lighter than its predecessor. It will still offer the full PowerGrid experience, making it a premium daily training shoe. FlexFilm has been added to the upper to improve weight and flexibility and minimizes the use of traditional stitching. A SupportFrame has been added to the heel counter for a better fit, and more IBR+ has been placed on the outsole to enhance each step you take.
The Saucony Cortana 3 is recommended for neutral-footed runners looking for a lightweight trainer or for the budding minimalist runner looking for a more natural, yet sturdy, model.

In August, you can expect a lighter and more nimble (but equally supportive) Saucony Stabil. The Stabil CS3, Saucony's go-to motion control model, has been redesigned to be markedly light! The men's size 9 weighs a mere 11.4 ounces and a women's size 8 weighs 10.2 ounces. To put it in perspective, the men's Saucony Guide 4--a shoe that was considered a lighter, mild stability model a few years ago--was also 11.4 ounces.
Those who truly need the support and pronation control need not worry, for the optimized weight will not compromise the stability of the shoe. Likewise an upgrade to a full PowerGrid midsole will make the ride of the shoe even more responsive and soft. The Stabil CS 3 rests upon a 8mm offset, making it the first iteration of the Stabil to slim down from the original 12mm heel-to-toe drop.
The Saucony Stabil CS 3 is recommended for severe overpronators, especially those with low to very flat arches.
Heel: 25.5mm
Forefoot: 17.5mm
