What Can We Look Forward to with the New Saucony Ride 7?
This June, Saucony will release its latest iteration of their go-to neutral trainer: the Ride 7.

When Saucony released the Ride 6 last spring, runners got the best of both worlds: a lightweight ride and a soft feel with each step. In the Ride 6, Saucony incorporated a heel-to-toe insert of Powergrid—the brand's softest and most responsive foam compound—into the midsole and kept the shoe under 10 ounces.

Runners can expect an even lighter feel and a smoother heel-to-toe transition in the Ride 7. It weighs an extraordinary 9.4 ounces for men (size 9) and 8.5 ounces for women (size 8), making it one of the lightest well-cushioned, neutral trainers on the market.

Saucony has re-engineered the Ride to make your gait cycle feel effortless. They have extended the SRC crash pad into the midfoot to encourage the smoothest transition possible. Saucony has also removed the plastic midfoot shank to not only improve the overall flexibility of the shoe but also to minimize weight. A new flex groove and increased forefoot flare allows for greater resilience and propulsion during the toe-off phase.

Runners will love the unique feeling of bouncy cushioning and responsiveness in the Powergrid-fueled midsole of the Ride 7. Expect a similar, soft feel at an even lighter weight than the previous Ride model.
