    Very peculiar string

    The coil will create for you a birds nest right out of the package. This is a very brittle string with a tendency to crimp during regular handling. This could be a plus for one using a floating clamp system as it holds well routing through adjacent grommets. Playability: offers good spin, power and comfort. The feel is below average, and the durability way below average.

    Looks like I've found a new string.

    Extremely easy on the arm for a firm hitting polyester string, and I've had a recurring shoulder/arm injury for years.

    Low power, strong bite... perfect

    I swing hard. Probably too hard. I want my string to give me control and spin, and zero added power. After using RPM Blast on a new racquet for a couple of matches (the shop didn't offer Black Widow with new racquet string jobs), I cut it off and went back to Black Widow. Ahhh, much better! Low power and great grab on the ball. Like all polys, it is a bit tough to string because of its coil retention. And it also will rub your fingers raw if you're not careful, due to the sharp edges on the string. But I ordered 12 packs of it when it went on sale. I string it in a hybrid setup - this on the mains, and a synethic gut on the crosses. String around 58 lbs.
