NB needs to up it's game
I'm one of those players for whom forefoot comfort is the big deal. Some reviews extolled the pillowy softness of this shoe's forefoot, and I decided to give it a try because, over the years I've had about 5 pairs of really good NB shoes. There's lots of cushioning here, but someone lost the thread. The shoes have to be soft and FLEXIBLE. They have to hinge right behind the toes. These are nice walking shoes for feet that can flap flap flap down sidewalks. But they lack the flexibility I need for an agile sense of control. Asics and k Swiss have better engineered solutions. Sorry NB. These are mediocre. Do better.

Talk about comfort
I have been buying the NB 806 tennis shoes for years. I have a foot issue so when I saw the advertisement for the X1007, I thought I would give them a try and I do not regret it. They are extremely comfortable to the point that I wear them now for more than when I play tennis. I found my new tennis shoes for now and the future.
