Controlled power
Wilson US Open tennis balls compress on the string bed a millisecond longer than other balls. Combined with the slightly fluffier surface, the result is plenty of power but with more control and "spinnability" than balls that are harder and slicker. Yes, they cost a bit more; but they last as long as other balls, and deliver a better playing experience during their lifetime.

Wilson US Open balls are the best!!
Wilson US Open balls are consistently good. With other brands, I sometimes open the can and even though the hiss is there, the bounce is not right. Also, I regularly get 4 or 5 sets out of the Wilson balls.

Balls perform but not for long!
Balls perform well enough but useless on a hard court after one set. They wear incredibly fast compared to Wilson Australian Open balls so I am not sure why they are intended for hard courts
