If you have a thing for tennis whites, there is no better tournament to watch than Wimbledon. Everyone wears white. You might think white on white on white would get a bit boring. Luckily, haute couture designer Stella McCartney has taken the tennis world by storm.
England's home girl Laura Robson upset Russian Maria Kirilenko in superb style. She was dressed in the Stella McCartney adidas Barricade line.
Robson wore the adidas Stella McCartney Barricade polo shirt and skort. On the opposite side of the court, Kirilenko also wore adidas Stella McCartney Barricade, however, she chose the adidas Stella McCartney Barricade cap sleeve t-shirt.
Ana Ivanovic was also struck down in the second round by Canadian teenager Eugenie Bouchard. Ivanovic was the 2008 French Open champion. She was stunning in Stella McCartney. Even though she lost her match, she will most likely make the best-dressed list for 2013 Wimbledon.
While Stella McCartney is designing some of our favorite all white kits this season, Nike isn't doing too bad of a job either. Maria Sharpova was wearing a Nike kit before her surprising second round defeat. Serena Williams is also sporting a sophisticated white Nike tennis dress. While not all white, we love her "Just Do It on the Grass" shirt as well.
Check out Nike's superb selection of tennis whites.
Personally, I would worry about grass stains but somehow these women manage to keep their white kits spotless. I guess that's just another way tennis superstars differ from us mortals.
