As a 24-year-old college graduate, I look back on my college career thinking "my gahd, THE CHASERS. THE MIXERS. THE SUGAR. THE... eeeeee." My roommates and I were big on OJ, not the ACTUAL juice, but the "SUGGAAARRR! This isn't actually orange juice” OJ. My teeth and health suffered as a result. And my hygienist, who also happens to be one my mom's closest friends, told me to really try and hold back on the sugary 11 pm to 3 am dance enhancers if I wanted to keep my pearls. After taking up more of a health and fitness-oriented lifestyle in post-college life, it's imperative that my cocktails and mixed drinks follow suit. I'm an adult now after all. I care about my health, longevity, teeth and body (and you should, too). Even if none of what I’m saying relates to you at all, but you’re constantly mixing sodas and juices into your cocktails.
