This version of Klip Legend is very high quality with a nice smooth coating. Overall, a lower-powered gut perfect for using in hybrids with poly. When used in the mains with a smooth poly, Legend provides excellent feel, power, and vibration absorption. Longevity is great for a 17 g string. I wouldn't consider paying up to $20 more for other natural gut brands, based on the excellent performance of Klip Legend 17 g.

This string is great, same quality but much cheaper than other natural gut strings.
Never before played with Gut in my 40 years of tennis playing. (I am 4.0) Used to use Head FXP and re-string every couple of months. With my traditional grips and hitting style I of gone 6 months without the strings breaking and I feel the strings continue to be "lively" and not playing "dead". (My oldest string job plays the same as the racket I strung 3 mos ago.)
