Upper: Full grain leather provides optimal support and durability. A long-wear drag tip helps protect the toe box area. Padded tongue and heel collar enhances instep comfort. Lace up front offers a customizable fit. An external loop at the heel makes the shoes easier to slip on.

Midsole:Lightning Dry® liner keeps your feet dry and comfortable as you train. C-CAP® midsole provides cushioning and support. ABZORB® cushioning in the midfoot provides exceptional shock absorption. ROLLBAR® with medial and lateral TPU Posts give ultimate motion control.

Outsole: Non-marking rubber wont mark floors. Herringbone allows increased traction for lateral motion and quick pivoting. Ndurance® rubber gives maximum outsole durability.

Bring back the 1006

I thought it was only me, that after 2 months of walking to break them in, the 806 sole was still too stiff to play tennis or comfortably walk in; but getting out of of my car at a tournament a woman, looking at my clay covered New Balance 1006 shoes said “They stopped making those.” and my husband hates the too sole stiff alternative. I agreed with her.

I wish I could return the 806 shoes and replace them with the 1006?

Nice wide toe box

I got these as I was getting cramps from my adidas shoes. So glad the NB come in various widths including EE. So much more comfortable. Now to find a black pair!
