Tourna Cross preventing cutting mains when hitting with spin
Once you have the appliance (or two) to insert Tourna Cross bushings in the string intersections it is silly to get more of them, when all you need is the bushings for less money.
Item is returnable, but does not qualify for free returns.

I'm a professional stringer. I've used this product, or something like it, for decades. It keeps the strings from moving around, which is death to 17 or 18 gauge string, and an absolute must for gut, any gauge. Also, it adds a little tension back to the strings, which sometimes losses a little tension at tie off in the stringing process. Oh, and please, string-a-lings do not effect the trajectory, or the spin of the ball. If usage of string-a-lings were good enough for Sampras, and a number of other world class players, it should be good enough for armatures.
These are an outstanding value.
Work well, but some fall out. Older ones worked better.
It's been 2 years since I've used babolat VS touch natural gut in the mains and LX BB in the crosses, and also since then I've been using Tourna cross string savers. I believe they are the best. They keep the natural gut from being notched but still provide a lively string bed.
