Great hopper. One complaint
I have had 3 or 4 hopper for pickleballs. This is my favorite so far. It holds a good amount of balls. It doesn't crush the balls when you pick them up like some hoppers that were actually designed for tennis balls, but are sold as pickleball hoppers. It closes securely. The handles are easy to use as handles or feet, and when you stand it up on the feet, the basket is stable.
My one complaint is that the knobs on the ends of the bars in the bottom of the basket are made of a metal, but the bars are made of plastic. This allows balls to be picked up nicely because the bars flex to allow the balls to pass through into the basket. But the knobs on the ends of the bars can pop off. They are apparently just glued in place. One of the knobs fell off. I glued it back on with Gorilla glue and it has held. However, if this happened at a bad time, it could cause a significant problem. Seems like they could fix it with a better design.
