361 Spire is a fresh addition to both our running and fitness category with its slick design and comfortable feel. The Spire's design is reminiscent of the Asics GT 2000 and the Gel- Kayano 21, with a less bulky feel. The fit of the shoe is comfortable for my slightly wide forefoot and medium to low arch. For added arch support, you can pair a Super Feet Black insole to keep the shoe as light as possible. You can certainly add something softer; however, the
Spire offers a great deal of cushioning already in both the heel and the forefoot of the shoe, so you may not need that.
The Spire's upper conforms to my foot without being constricting at all. While walking about with them I automatically noticed the cushioning within the forefoot. The feel is soft, without feeling unsupportive or too mushy. The
361 Spire provides a comfortable, stylish, and easy ride throughout each wear. I find the 361 Spire to be a solid choice for road running, working out in the gym, and taking a long walk on a trail or around town. The
